Cobalt Nitrate, Hexahydrate, Practical is an inorganic cobalt salt of nitric acid. It is often a red brownish color and a deliquescent salt that is water soluble. It is created by the reaction of cobalt oxide, hydroxide or carbonate with nitric acid. Practical grade products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
