Description

D-Sorbitol, also known as D-glucitol, is a sugar alcohol used as a sugar substitute. It can be obtained by reduction of glucose which changes the aldehyde group to a hydroxyl group. Ungraded products supplied by TCI America are generally suitable for common industrial uses or for research purposes but typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
